Polaroid Announces Smart Camera Powered by Android

Given that folks are replacing conventional cameras with the lenses built into their smartphones at an ever-growing rate, Polaroid is making the logical move of creating a smart camera that takes advantage of the features found in a mobile OS. Based on Android, the newly announce SC1630 combines a 36-108mm lens and 16MP sensor with 3x optical zoom with a 3.2-inch touchscreen to provide 18 different shooting modes and expansive sharing capabilities.
