Topping the list is Dan Brown’s cryptic thriller The Da Vinci Code and, with the addition of J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic novels and C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, it’s clear that us Brits love a good adventure story.
